What was made: The dishes made, were two heart shaped Pizza's and a simple leafy green Salad, with delicious balsamic vinegar and oil (with other ingredients). My partner in crime: My partner I cooking was Milly, who is an excellent cook and shares the same passion of cooking with me. Equipment used: To make the Pizza's, there was only a small amount of equipment used. It includes; measuring cups, tablespoon and teaspoons, knives, both small and large for cutting vegetables and meat, bowls, both small and large. Kneading: The affect of kneading gives the dough a strong base. It is highly important to thoroughly knead the dough because it is what holds the dough/pizza base together, so small bits don't come off crumbling when the Pizza is in the oven. Shaping and rolling: After you have kneaded the dough enough, the fun part comes of rolling out, and shaping your pizza dough. When rolling the dough, some difficulties you might face is how sometimes the dough sticks to the pin. This may be because you haven't put enough flour sprinkled on the dough before kneading, or the dough could be to cold. Therefore you should let the dough come to room temperature, and making sure it has proofed completely. Mozzarella: Mozzarella is the best cheese to use on Pizza because, when melted on the top it allows itself to spread across all toppings/ingredients holding it in firmly. Also Mozzarella is the least processed cheese, leaving the texture and flavour tasting almost perfect. Skills: You don't need to many skills for making this simple but delicious Pizza. You need to know what size knives best suites the vegetable/fruit being cut. For example you aren't going to use an oversized knife for cutting up a small garlic clover. Another skill used was; you need to know what type/colour of chopping board's needed to cut your ingredients. For example, you cannot put raw chicken on the brown board, which is used for COOKED meat. Rating performance of cooking: Hygeine & safety rules: 9/10 Utensils and equipment used appropriately: 8/10 Working cooperatively: 10/10 Read recipe properly: 9.10 Improvements: Some improvements my partner and I could use: -To put equipment and food away as we make the pizza's instead of leaving it all for the end. - To leave the wet, cleaned equipment on the drying rack, instead of briskly drying it with a hand towel .
Overall, the Pizza we made delicious and healthy. When we made it it was improvised, meaning we made a lot of changes to the topping choices, and it was still delicious. One change I would make for the recipe would be to double the amount of ingredients because the recipe was DELICIOUS. And i wanted much more.
